<>>>SETTING THE NEWWAVE.
Damir Doma is pillaging france right now, one retailer at a time. because yes this type of desert nomadic minimalism has gone missing and probably never existed without the help of doma's vision. shits too trendy nowadays folks... seriously take it down a notch, i don't care to see anymore variations of the acne wedges, or newly distressed clothing. keep it refined raw.

CREDITS: TYLER SHIELDS VIDEO PORTRAITS
<>>>///pictures just got a whole lot more colorful.
tyler shields is music video director who came up with these unnaturally honest video portraits-- each of them aren't longer then about 1 to 3 minutes, some of them as short as 20 seconds.
they're just a bit more entertaining then a photo still huh?

CREDITS: IT WAS I WHO DID THIS
<>>///if anna della russo had a bird pet.
anyway i got bored of drawing on human croquis (FIT has clearly taken its toll)... so i decided to reintroduce the blue-footed booby wearing lanvin's latest frock from fall 2010 styled with maison michel headwear.
t h e c o l l e c t i o n featured this past week or so was once again riddled to the bone with blackness, and ash hues- draping was done justice as always. think however that the booby is wearing the most exotic piece of the collection, hope y'all like it.

CREDITS: STEFAN BOUBIL, INTERIOR DESIGNER
humph...i want the apartment to look like a shanghai nightclub.
cindy gallop, chairman of BBH (one of the biggest advertising firms out there) seems like a dream client, to which the interior designer responded "well howsahbout we paint the whole apartment a black lacquered chinese box?" apparently trust was a big deciding factor. the apartment now acquires all its light from pops of color that reflect off the flea market finds, vacation souvenirs, and just about 30 years of intellectually fine-tuned hoarding (ehm gucci chainsaw...probably limited edition huh?)
apartment look familiar? it was converted from the first YMCA locker rooms in the U.S.

CREDITS: GOOGLEY, BESPOK ORIG. SKETCH, DG SHOW
<>>//kinda strange how the first pictures i saw of the fall DG show surfaced not on style.com or nymag but on some chick's blog. i tried searching the show in full and couldnt find it anywhere..
thought that was awesome.
alright moving right along- not sure if many of you have heard about this blues singer son house, let me summarize any extensive searches regarding his music into a couple words or less: whatareyouwaitingforhuh? great word- didnt think i was capable of that. i learned about him through another blues artist - leadbelly (for some authentic/raw sounds listen to "where did you sleep last night")
im sure many of you haven't noticed that i didnt post for like a week or two, well damnit i've been workin on my portfolio for fit, jack pulled an allnighter everyone, last time i did that, it was to enjoy my youth. willingfully. walked into fit today and found out the review has been canceled. life is so fair everyone. in the sketch above >>> i took the tie right off of son house's neck and dressed my girl up, and what else can go perfectly with a black tie then a lizard skinned toolbelt/bag...and is that like an extra pair of feet? i hate putting my original sketches on here but hope you guys like it, it was in fact one of the many looks i procrastinated on for my fit portfolio and quite possibly something for my line? AFTER the illustration was drawn (yeah i went there), i checked out a BLOG, and found the DG show...bow to bow with blackness, oh sonny. gosh im so full of words today...so try and read it this doesn't happen often.
* will have more sketches of recent shows coming in soon, i pinky swear.

<>>//i like milk. like how it associates itself with the words- bones and fresh. reminds me of childhood. used to update me on what lucky kid in my neighborhood was missing, but we have facebook now. and the color is tasteful.
and hi but-does anybody drink milk anymore?
milkmen from britain and ireland, and europe used to deliver milk every mornin fresh. with door-to-door service in glass bottles, ridin around town in vehicles appropriately named- the milk float (do glance at that last picture for symbiotic reference). kinda got me thinking that someday soon the mailman is gonna be just as dated- archived in the past, just like mr. milkman.
drink more milk.
write more letters.
drink milk and write some letters.
write more milk and drink more letters.
